We went and helped our ward decorate a float for the 24th of July parade.
We went and played croquet with our friends Chad, Taylor, and Parker Workman. It was tons of fun. Glad we got to hang out before you move to Texas!!

Random Pictures
A couple Sundays ago, Eva and I went over to my cousin Jami's house for lunch after her son Christian's blessing. The food was great! I also got to see my cousin Brittany and her daughter T'Kiya. I hadn't seen Brittany for two years, so it was fun.
This past Saturday I got to go to my friend Natalie's wedding at the Idaho Falls Temple. She looked beautiful and very happy. Congrats Rhett and Natalie. And...it was so much fun to see my great friend Marcia. I still love you more than my luggage!!

Memories
I got this from Zach and Holly's blog. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
Feel free to leave a memory of Lindsay or Brian :)

On Monday we decided we should go visit Zach, Holly, Abby, Ellie, and Sophie. It was a fun visit. Sophie is a cutie!! I can't believe how much hair she has.
Thanks for letting us come visit!! You guys are great.
Eva really liked it when Abby pushed her in the swing.

Eva wrote the title...We went to NOP Park last night to watch the Pocatello fireworks. It was fun. Eva just stared at all the flashing lights.
This morning Eva and I went to help clean the church. I just carried her around in this "backpack" carrier while I vacuumed. She was very content with that.

Now we are going to go through Eva's clothes and take out what doesn't fit anymore. She is finally growing out of most of the 3-6 months size clothes so we can get out the 6-9 months clothes, since she is almost 8 months old!!
Hope everyone had a good 4th!!!

If You can't see to far in the future, look into the light!
Let me be honest, I kinda faught this blog thing for a while but I guess it's better to communicate in any form than no form.
Some things have been on my mind latly, like family and whats important. (look out its already corny). Anyhow its mostly how lucky I am and how bright my families future looks. But then there is the rest of the world. And for what ever reason, economy, gas prices, politics, gossip, and all that drama, there seems like no happiness in sight. No reason to look forward to the future. No purpose in this rat race but to beat another "rat" to the cheese. But then I have this friend........
He sees the world the same way that I do, but suddenly in his 28 years in life has discovered a light in the darkness. He sees this light in my life and can tell that I follow it, (stumbling sometimes). His whole life he has tried to be a cut above the rest and have an edge that no one else has. Now he wants to escape the fact that the world is telling him that there is no happiness, and beat the darkness by taking care of the fragile light that he sees in the distance.
Friends and Family, cherish your lights, so that no matter when you need to help some one else see, you can.
I hope for him to grasp the happiness, this hope helps me to block out the dismal worldly things that try to diminish the brightness of my light.
Happy Independence Day.
