Duchess had puppies!!
Dutch's puppies were born on Friday, and they are adorable! She had two boys and four girls.
By the way, these puppies are for sale, so if you know anybody looking for a good hunting dog, let me know. They are purebred, AKC registered, Brittany Spaniels.
Christmas and the Ugly Sweater Party
We had a great Christmas. It was so much fun. Eva was really excited. We got all of our decorations and our stockings out a few weeks before Christmas. The morning after we got them out, Eva went right to the stockings when she came downstairs. She looked inside them and then said, "Santa didn't leave us anything in our stockings!" Then we had to get out the Christmas countdown magnet board and help her understand that there were still 20 more days until Santa would come!

Ely got a rocking moose.
We had the Annual Anderson Family Ugly Sweater Party on New Year's weekend. We ate chili and made gingerbread houses and then the power went out! For the rest of the night we partied in the dark. It was lots of fun.

Sugar Town
Ice Skating, etc...
We went ice skating during Christmas break, and it was so fun. I didn't even fall down!! I think the kids had a great time. I think we'll need to go there again.
Eva and Paisley loved riding around on the chairs. By the end, they both tried skating in their own skates.
Okay, that's why I didn't fall, I spent most of the time holding onto a chair! But, I got braver after awhile and skated around without it.
Eva in the skates. She was a bit nervous about it, but had fun once she had them on for a few minutes.
Ely likes to play peek-a-boo.
This is Eva all dresssed up for her Christmas dance recital. She did so great!
Like the new color?? Don't worry...those are just wigs!

Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot
On Thanksgiving day we did the 5k in Paul. It was kinda chilly, but no icey roads like our last race! Everyone did a great job and it was fun.
Brian was so proud of his mom for finishing her first 5k. Great job, Becky!!
Everyone who ran/walked in the race: Brenda, Marcy, Brian, Duchess, Charmaine, Mitchel, Dale, Becky, Melanie, me, Holly, and McKenzie. Thanks to my mom for hanging out with Eva and Ely and cheering us on.
