Eva, you're too little to be doing that!!

So, Eva and I were in the kitchen making banana bread. I had the step stool out (because I'm short and can't reach everything in my cupboards), and Eva decided it looked like fun. I thought it was cute because she was trying to climb it. Needless to say, I didn't really think she could do it. A couple minutes later, I moved the step stool out of my way and continued making the bread. Eva crawled over to where I moved it to play with it some more. The next thing I knew, I turned around and she was standing on the first step with a big smile!! She was very proud of herself. I let her try again so I could record it and show Brian. (There is no sound because I recorded this on my digital camera, and I don't know how to rotate it.)

Just a swingin'

Today Eva wanted to sit in her swing. She hasn't sat in it for awhile because she is VERY mobile these days and doesn't sit still for long. Today she sat in the swing for probably five minutes and had a great time!! This is Eva the first time we put her in her swing. She was only four days old.

Football, frisbies, and more football

Life has been busy, and lots of fun!! Time goes by so fast. It's been almost two weeks since our last post, so you can see what we've been up to. We went to the Minico vs. Some California Team game at the Holt Arena. It was fun, and Minico won!! Eva clapped and cheered and didn't mind the noise. Mom, your hair looks great!! We went and played frisbie golf after the game. Needless to say, I'm not so good, but it was lots of fun anyway. We went to the ISU vs. NDU football game on Thursday. Yes Bulzomis, ND won!

Swimming

So, all summer Brian and I have talked about taking Eva swimming. She finally got to go last Saturday. Eva and I went to the pool at ISU with Jeff, Megan, Kierra, and Paisley. Eva LOVES the bathtub, so we figured she would love swimming. She had lots of fun and kicked and splashed like crazy. This is what happens when Eva tries to take her bib off herself. By the way, last week she learned to sign the word "more" for when she wants more food!!
