The Bengal Triathlon

I am so proud of Brian!! He completed his second triathlon today! He did great and improved his time from his first triathlon. He finished somewhere around 1 hour and 23 minutes (I don't know the exact time). This is Brian and Eva showing off their muscles after his 700 yard swim. They actually do the swim the night before the bike and run, and they swim in the pool at ISU.
Here is Brian this morning waiting for them to call his name so he can take off on his bike. He loves his road bike!
This is Brian at the end of the bike portion, which I think was 13 or 14 miles. And he's done!! The running portion is a 5k, so just over 3 miles.

Good job, Brian! You did awesome!!!

Easter Weekend

We had a fun Easter weekend. On Friday night our ward had an authentic Passover Seder. After that we went to visit our families in Hazelton and Rupert. Eva had lots of fun with her cousins and aunts and uncles. The Easter Bunny left Eva a basket of treats Sunday morning.
We decorated Easter eggs Saturday night. Eva had fun!
We went to an Easter Egg hunt Saturday in Twin Falls and on Sunday at Brian's Aunt and Uncle's house.
The weather was not even close to spring-like. But the girls still wanted to bundle up and go out with Grandpa to check the cows. That is Kierra driving (with Grandpa's help) and Abby in the back with Paisley (can't see her in the picture) and Eva.
It was a chilly weekend. We had tons of fun!! Thank you to everyone.

Locks of Love

Well, I finally got brave enough and let McKenzie chop my hair off!! I would only do this for a really good reason and that reason is to donate my hair to Locks of Love. McKenzie cut my hair off in two braids, both about 12 inches long! This is the 3rd time I have donated my hair and it always makes me so nervous!!
McKenzie did a great job on my haircut though. I think it turned out really cute. I just have to keep practicing to make it look as good as she does!
Brian always likes it when I try something different, and he really likes my new haircut. I will be growing my hair out again and will be ready to donate it in three or four years!
You can kind of see in this picture how long my hair was getting. This was in January.
