For the past month I have been using a couponing blog that has saved us a bunch of money. Here is an example of what we bought Wednesday at Albertsons.
I spent $16.28 cash and bought 35 items.
My savings was $113.64.
20 cans Progresso soup
4 Pillsbury Grands biscuits
4 Macaroni Grill dinners
2 boxes Cheerios
2 half gallons milk
1 jumbo pack diapers
1 eight piece bag of fried chicken (I know, not a very healthy dinner)
1 bottle of baby Tylenol
Not bad for some basics and some quick lunches to take to work!

YEAH!!! good work! I'm so proud! I was bummed because the albertsons here weren't having the same sale.
that is pretty cool that you were able to save so much.
You saved a lot considering that stuff usually doesn't cost that much, does it? ;) If so, you need to start shopping at Winco. That's where I do my shopping, and they take coupons. Yippee!!!
hey, that's pretty good for $16. Just the Progresso soup would have cost at least $40. I was pretty proud of myself for buying three boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios for $4 the other day! It would have been $3 if they would have doubled the coupon I found at the register.
Okay Marcia, I checked the prices at Winco tonight. It would have cost me $60.26 to buy all of these things there. This does not include the Macaroni Grill dinner kits because they don't have them at Winco.
The problem with Winco is that they don't accept printable coupons, which most of mine were. And, they don't accept other stores' coupons, which the rest of mine were.
So, I think I got a sweet deal!!
I want that website. That is awesome!!
